CNC Mold Positive: Proposal
Currently, my plan is to design my object in Rhino and create a two sided mold. I have two concepts in mind at the moment, which cater to the material I'm using with the mold. My first concept is to make a teapot for a slip cast: I plan on using the full 5.5 inches for the width of the teapot, and currently I also plan on splitting my mold down the middle to make 2 symmetrical sides. The current potential issues I see with my concept are the eyes, which I am willing to adjust, and how thin the end of the spout is. The second concept I have in mind is making a blow mold for glass. I'm thinking about surface design in a similar way to the SLA print project. This concept is not as developed, I know that I want to make a blow mold but at this point in time I don't know exactly what to do with it.
